When I travel, I send back postcards, addressed to myself, and put tidbits of story ideas or something of the like on them. I number them to make sure they all arrive. Here are a few from the past few years.

I can't even imagine what the postal carrier thinks.
One reason I number them - to make sure they are all returned to me. I hope I made their day a little more interesting. I know I would be reading them if I worked in there.
I agree with Kristin makes life more interesting for the postal workers. I think it's a brilliant idea too! You need to teach a writing class someday!!! I'd sign up!

We were sitting in Boston Market, your were writing postcards to yourself and I was thinking... she's weird, how do I escape!? muhahaha
